The Mercedes-Benz Service Technician should have excellent mechanical skills, be a collaborator, have a strong work ethic, and the ability to grow in their position. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for competitive income, benefits, and an enjoyable work environment in both our Irondale and Hoover, AL locations.

Monday to Friday – 7:30 to 5pm
Floating Saturday – 8am to 4pm (every third week)

Positions available at both locations
Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication
Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer and MB
Conduct multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
Keep informed of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as needed
Provide an exceptional repair experience to drive customer loyalty
Achieve targeted production and efficiency goals on a regular basis
1+ years of prior automotive diagnostic, repair experience required
A strong focus on Customer Awareness when servicing vehicles
A team player focused on creating a positive work environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with others
Strong organizational skills and detail orientation
Possess a valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
