The GLB is fully redesigned for 2027 with a longer wheelbase, revised roofline, new engine architecture, and a new digital platform. Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the all-new GLB will reach U.S. dealerships in early 2027, although the complete trim lineup, drivetrain combinations, pricing, and final output figures have not yet been announced.
The 2027 GLB uses a new four-cylinder M252 FAME engine with Miller-cycle combustion and 48-volt technology. Mercedes-Benz currently references preliminary figures of 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque based on the CLA, but official GLB output remains to be confirmed.
A newly developed multi-link rear suspension supports the redesigned platform. The longer wheelbase and revised roofline are intended to provide more legroom and headroom for first- and second-row passengers.
The Mercedes-Benz Operating System powers the new generation of MBUX. Its virtual assistant incorporates artificial intelligence from Google and Microsoft, while an available floating MBUX Superscreen expands the cabin’s digital interface.
The redesigned GLB retains its focus on passenger flexibility with available seating for up to seven. Final seating configurations and cargo measurements will be released closer to its arrival.

The AMG® GLB 35 uses an AMG®-enhanced 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with hybrid assistance. AMG® Performance 4MATIC®, adaptive damping, larger brakes, and AMG® drive modes give it a sharper performance focus.
AMG® Line Lite, the AMG® Night Package, and the Midnight Edition can add distinct wheels, exterior details, and cabin accents to eligible GLB 250 models. These are equipment packages or editions rather than separate powertrain trims.
Individual vehicles may include different upholstery, seating, technology, driver-assistance, and appearance packages.
The 2025 lineup includes the front-wheel-drive GLB 250, all-wheel-drive GLB 250 4MATIC®, and Mercedes-AMG® GLB 35. Mild-hybrid assistance supports all three models, while the AMG® GLB 35 adds performance-specific suspension, braking, and all-wheel-drive technology.

The available AMG® Line gives eligible GLB 250 models a sportier appearance through AMG® body styling, wheels, steering-wheel details, and cabin accents. It does not change the model into an AMG® GLB 35 or increase engine output.
